MEDICO-LEGAL PRACTICE

Ash Vasireddy is a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon. He works at King’s College Hospital (Major Trauma Centre) in London.


In addition, he is dually-qualified in Pre-hospital Care and also works as a Pre-hospital Care Consultant. He is the only Orthopaedic Surgeon in the U.K. with this unique level of expertise.


His main areas of clinical practice include complex upper limb fractures, lower limb fractures, pelvic fractures, acetabular fractures and all open fractures.


He is an author of Medico-Legal Reporting in Orthopaedic Trauma (4th Edition). It is widely recognised by both the legal and medical professions as the standard text on musculoskeletal injury in personal injury litigation.



Personal injury practice:


All of Mr Vasireddy’s practice involves personal injury litigation. Reports are commissioned by claimants solicitors, defence/insurance company solicitors and on a joint basis.


Claimants can be seen either in Essex or in London . The waiting time for appointments is usually 4-6 weeks, although on occasions people can be seen more quickly if there is a degree of urgency. Reports comply with the current legislation.



For instructing parties:

The following is required from Solicitor/Agency/Insurance Company wishing to instruct

  • Formal letter of instruction – with clients address and date of birth
  • All medical records (in electronic pdf format). Please inform early if the only option is hardcopy.
  • Radiology reports/images and passwords (if protected)
  • Terms and Conditions signed by instruction company


Hardcopy medical records will be destroyed three months after the report is completed unless requested not to do so by instructing party.
