Teaching at Shock Trauma Centre, Baltimore, USA

I was privileged to be invited to join the faculty at Shock Trauma Centre, Baltimore, as part of their Trauma Surgical Skills Course.


The R Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Centre is part of the University of Maryland Medical Centre. It is internationally renowned and developed the concept of the the golden hour. Many resuscitative and surgical techniques that are now used round the world were originally pioneered at Shock Trauma Centre. They continue to be pioneers in the field of Trauma Care. As such, I was humbled to be invited to their course. It was an excellent day with delegates from around the USA.
